Join in on an exciting lineup of classic lawn games at the Pixie Pool. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just learning to play, everyone is welcome to participate and have a blast under the sun.

Inspire creativity for the entire family with a variety of complimentary craft activities. Available from 10 AM - 11 AM daily at the Artist Cottage. Reservations are not required, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Creative exploration at Camp Oak awaits. Our young guests will enjoy immersive themed programming curated to the Ojai experience. Camp Oak incorporates arts and crafts, science experiments, scavenger hunts throughout the resort grounds, and a host of other activities to keep our campers engaged and eager to learn.

Camp Oak’s programming includes educational projects and daily themed lessons while incorporating Ojai’s rich history and highlighting the flora and fauna that surrounds us. Campers will have the opportunity to explore themes such as Ojai Day, Space Camp, Color Wars, Critter Connection, and Around the World.

Professional counselors are certified in CPR and First Aid. Camp Oak is available daily with an advanced reservation. Due to the state-mandated counselor to child ratio, reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

Theme days offer a fun new way to spend each day. All daily activities are planned around the theme of the day. Camp Oak will modify events to fit the needs of all children we receive each day and different age groups are taken into consideration for activities. Daily activities may depend upon weather. Children must be completely potty trained, regardless of age. No exceptions will be allowed.

Create a duo of bath bars with our resident artist, Tina Chavez. Learn the step-by-step process of soap making and customize your shea butter bars by using natural fragrances, dyes, and plant materials.

Alcohol ink creations are a rising trend in the art world. Learn about the technique and get lost in a moment of creativity as you blend inks to make custom, colorful coasters for your home. Watch as the colors come to life, dancing and swirling on the surface to create unique patterns.

String together a unique combination of beads, feathers, washers, chimes, and more to create a melodic wind chime that is distinctive to your time in Ojai. Display your artwork in your home and be transported back to our serene valley every time you hear the sound.

Learn about essential pollinators from our resident beekeeper in a relaxed setting. As you taste a variety of different raw honeys from Southern California, our apiarist will demonstrate some of the tools used for beekeeping and honey harvesting. Located at our Discover Ojai Center. Each session is limited to one family or private group and includes a selection of honeys to taste, an assorted cheese plate, and refreshing lavender lemonade.

Downtown Ojai

Enjoy a leisurely one mile guided ride into town on the Ojai Bike Trail. Once you arrive in the heart of downtown, our guide will lead you on a walking tour to introduce some of Ojai's best art galleries, tasting rooms, and eateries.

$100 per person plus 20% service charge, approximately 3 hours

Picnic in the Park

Take a scenic ride through the small town of Ojai and over to one of the town's most treasured parks for a picnic. While you rest and take in the serene setting, our guide will arrange a picnic for you to enjoy. This route has very little elevation and is about 7 miles round trip.

River Valley Trail ride is well suited for the beginner to intermediate rider. While relaxing at a leisurely pace for an hour-long ride in the valley, riders enjoy breathtaking views of the Topatopa mountain range.

We are pleased to partner with Ojai Raptor Center, a local non-profit organization, to offer private experiences for our guests to visit and meet the ambassadors. Guests will enjoy a short walk around the facility to see the largest aviary for raptors in rehabilitation in California. As the tour progresses, you will meet three Ojai Raptor Center ambassadors, and receive an All About Owls presentation. Proceeds from this experience help further the Ojai Raptor Center’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release of birds of prey and other wildlife.

All About Owls

Whooooo isn’t fascinated by owls? Learn all about these unique creatures, and meet three of ORC’s ambassador owls. This program includes a fun six page activity workbook for kids to take home with concepts and vocabulary introduced in the program.

The Ojai Raptor Center (ORC) is a state and federally permitted 501(c)(3) non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of birds of prey and other wildlife, and to providing education programs about wildlife and our shared environment. Ojai Raptor Center receives over 1,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild patients a year and has a small team of education ambassadors, or non-releasable birds, trained for education outreach.
