The celebration begins Thursday evening with an intimate five-course dinner at Olivella featuring Winemaker Nico Cueva. Our culinary team will present a five-course tasting menu with palate-pleasing dishes such as Winter Truffle Gnocchi and White Sea Bass with Shelling Beans and Guanciale Jus.

On Friday morning, join us for a Tasting Seminar & Panel Discussion to hear more from Winemaker Nico Cueva and a panel of experts as they taste six celebrated Kosta Browne wines. Learn to notice and appreciate the differences between wines produced in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, and Santa Lucia Highlands appellations.
Finally, enjoy a leisurely lunch on Friday afternoon surrounded by breathtaking views of the Ojai Valley.

MEET THE TASTING SEMINAR PANELISTS
Carlin Karr came to wine through cooking; she attended the California Culinary Academy, then teamed up with some fellow alums to open Sons & Daughters in San Francisco. After a few years as the general manager and wine buyer there, she moved to Boulder, Colorado, to take a job working with Bobby Stuckey, MS, at Frasca. She took over as Wine Director in 2016, and also oversees the wine programs at sister restaurants Pizzeria Locale and Tavernetta. She was named "Sommelier of Year" in 2018 by FOOD & WINE.
Anthony Giglio is one of the most entertaining wine and spirits authorities on the planet. He is a writer, educator and raconteur who motivates countless imbibers to trust their own tastes. Giglio’s witty, unpretentious style can be discerned in the weekly “Wine Wise Guy” column he writes for FOOD & WINE. Giglio has written 11 books, including three editions of the annual FOOD & WINE Wine Guide review of 1,000+ wines; his highly-regarded first book, Cocktails in New York, and his latest, Passport to Italian Wine.
Nico Cueva brings an inquisitive nature, an obsession with quality, and a passion for making Pinot Noir to his role as Head Winemaker at Kosta Browne. Nico joined Kosta Browne in 2009 as a full-time winemaking intern, and was hired as Cellar Master and Production Manager in 2011. Today, as Head Winemaker, he leads the Kosta Browne team in the production of thought-provoking wines and carries on the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of the Kosta Browne founders.
