SEA SMOKE WINE DINNER

On summer evenings, the Santa Ynez River canyon funnels a cool maritime fog layer (sea "smoke") across the hillsides, slowing the ripening process and providing the extended maturation period essential to the development of top-quality Pinot Noir. The result is Sea Smoke - considered widely to be a "Grand Cru" of California, and certainly among the Golden State's most collectible wines. Join Winemaker Victor Gallegos as we celebrate the wines of Sea Smoke, paired with tray-passed canapés and a five-course menu from Chef Andrew Foskey.
